Hi members and guests of the Grampians Bushwalking Club, The next club bushwalk is Mt Cole - Buangor on Saturday, September 26th. If you would like to join us, please notify Mike on 0406 756 855 by 6pm on Thursday, September 24th to register your interest and to receive departure times and locations or further information. Walk Details Starting from an elevation of 760m, we will descend 300m for about an hour along old forestry roads through the recovering forest burned by bushfire in February 2024. After joining the Beeripmo Trail, we will stop at Richards Camp before a steep climb to Raglan Falls Lookout. Then another steep climb to Ditchfield Camp, where we will have lunch. After the final stretch over the top of Cave Hill at 860m, we will be rewarded by a fantastic view over Buangor State Park and off to the horizon. AWTGS Grade: Moderate - Grade 3+ Grade Description: Rougher surface, short steep sections, many steps. Suitable for good fitness levels, some experience recommended.
