SUMMARY:Briggs Bluff via Beehive Falls
DESCRIPTION:If you would like to join us\, please notify Hugh on 0428621798 by 8pm on Thursday 12th March to register your interest and to receive departure times and locations or further information.\n\n\n\n\n\nWalk Details\n\nAcknowledged by many as one of the best walks in the Grampians. Please note that the walk is graded as Hard.  The walk starts with an easy 1.4 kms to Beehive Falls.  The waterfall is still flowing and there is a nice cool pool at its base.  The walk from the falls alternates between mild gradients and short\, steep sections.  The summit of Briggs Bluff is not precise but the views at the top are amazing.  Take care as it is a bit exposed.\nGrade:  Hard\, Grade 4.  Some parts of the track are not well defined.\nDistance: 12.4 kms.\nElevation Gain (m):  500\nDuration:  6 hours\nRequirements:\nUsual day hiking gear\, water\, lunch.  Don’t skimp on water – recommend at least 2 litres.  Electrolytes are also recommended if the weather is hot.

SUMMARY:Wartook Lookout to Halls Gap
DESCRIPTION:If you would like to join us\, please notify Jenny on 0408 345387 by 8pm on Thursday 26th March to register your interest and to receive departure times and locations or further information.\n\nWalk Details\n\nWeather permitting\, this is a very picturesque walk with spectacular views over Lake Wartook and surrounding ranges. We commence at Wartook lookout then follow the Grampians Peaks Trail mostly downhill into Halls Gap.  Note: This walk involves steep decent down stone steps and is one way so involves a 20km each way car shuffle at the end.\n\nGrade:  Easy/Medium Grade 3.  Mostly downhill.\nDistance: 11 kms.\nElevation Descent (m):  550\nDuration:  5 hours walking plus car shuffle\n\nRequirements:\n\n\nUsual day hiking gear\, water\, lunch.  Don’t skimp on water – recommend at least 2 litres.  Electrolytes are also recommended if the weather is hot.
