Borough Huts to Mt Rosea

The next club bushwalk is to Mt Rosea from Borough Huts (return) on Saturday 19th July.

Walk Details:
Graded as: Medium / Hard (AWT Grade 4)
Distance: 16km
Duration: 6 hours
Elevation gain: 700m
Bring: Usual long day hike gear, lunch, water. Be prepared for any conditions.
Beginning at Borough Huts, the Grampians Peaks Trail will take us to the top of one of the highest peaks on the Serra Range (Mt Rosea 1009m).
This walk (that was re-opened just last week) will give us the opportunity to see some of the impact and the re-growth following the fires.
Provided the skies are clear, we will be rewarded for our 700m ascent with classic Grampian views. We will then retrace our route down the mountain back to Borough Huts.
