Tunnel Walk from Pomonal

Walk Details

A walk which takes us from the scenic village of Pomonal towards Lake Bellfield and return on the same track.  Along the way we will see the tunnel which has taken water to Stawell since around 1880.  We will also see views over Lake Bellfield.  Whilst there are some uphill stretches, they are fairly easy.

Grade:  3, Moderate.  Suitable for most ages and fitness levels.
Distance:  12.8 kms
Elevation:  Around 200 metres.
Duration (estimated walking time is 4 hours – travel time to Pomonal will be around 30 minutes)
No dogs allowed
