Tunnel Walk from Pomonal

Walk Details

A walk which takes us from the scenic village of Pomonal towards Lake Bellfield and return on the same track.  Along the way we will see the entrance to the tunnel which has taken water to Stawell since around 1880.  We will see views over Lake Bellfield and we will cross the Mt William range at its lowest point.

Grade:  3, Moderate.  Suitable for most ages and fitness levels.
Distance:  12.8 kms
Elevation:  Around 500 metres.
Duration (estimated walking time is 5 hours – travel time to Pomonal will be around 30 minutes)
No dogs allowed
