Rating: Medium / Hard
After setting up the car shuffle, this walk follows the Grampians Peaks Trail and starts from Rosea Carpark where it rises gradually through the forest. After 800m it gets rockier with steps and steeper to get onto the ridge.
Follow the ridge to Mt Rosea summit. South of the summit, some rock scrambling down to the saddle is required, then the track drops off the main ridge through forest and contours down to the creek crossing and then the campsite at Borough Huts.
Good fitness and balance required.
Bring lunch hat water, raincoat.
Meet at Stawell SES unless otherwise arranged with leader.
